The Fortuny Silk Cesendello Light - A "cesendello", or sanctuary lamp, has its roots in Rome and Byzantium, and later became popular in Venice and the Muslim world. The profile of this elegant spiral structure recalls the twist of a turban. The refined silhouette represents the synthesis of the Oriental and Renaissance themes present in Venice as early as the 15th century. Fortuny specifies that the Cesendello fixture is engineered for versatile installation - as a wall sconce or as a ceiling-mounted fixture.
Silk shade has a 10" tassel, which can be removed. The fixture measures between 37-38.5" inches in height. Shade measures 6 3/4". 25W bulb.
